Images Contemporary Dance Company
Images Contemporary Dance Company was founded in 2005 to provide comprehensive modern dance training to young dancers and as a vehicle to provide concert performance experience within the greater DFW arts community. Directed by Chloé Langley, company members study modern dance technique as a complement to their ballet and jazz training. Through the study of modern dance technique and choreography, dancers ages eight to eighteen are receiving a fuller understanding of the creative and expressive possibilities of dance. Most recently Images has performed at the South Dallas Dance Festival, Barefoot Brigade Dance Festival and Dance Planet 17. Former Images members have gone on to study modern dance at Long Island University, Point Park, University of North Texas, Sam Houston State, and the University of Utah. Their latest work, Borrowed, premiered at the South Dallas Dance Festival.
