Myah Brown

Myah Brown is a 2008 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She was a one-year member of Repertory Company II and Repertory Company I. Myah has studied jazz, tap, ballet, tumbling, hip hop, and modern technique at ADX. She was also a member of FIRE!, ADX xtremeDancers, and Images Contemporary Dance Company. Myah has studied with Denise Bailey, Doug Caldwell, Kitty Carter, Bruce Wood, Moussa Diabate, Nick DiNicolangelo, Melissa Glascow, Darrin Henson, Adam Hougland, Momix, Dwight Rhoden, Dessiree Robbins, Wade Robson, Kanji Segawa, George Smallwod, Joey Tarwater, Sonya Tayeh, Brittany Thomas, and Christopher Vo. Myah is attending Long Island University, Brooklyn where she is studying Modern Dance.

Jenny Hammack

Jenny has been dancing since she was two years old. She is a former student of Amanda’s Dance Express and also of North Central Civic Ballet. Jenny attended Kilgore College where she was a member of the World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes on the 66th line. From 2005-2007 she also participated in the Swingesters, an elite Rangerette performing group. During her two years as a Rangerette, Jenny was able to perform at many events such as the Cotton Bowl, the AT&T Cotton Bowl Parade, Dallas Cowboys half time game, Carnival Cruise line, Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, and at the Gaylord Texas Celebration. Jenny graduated Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. Jenny was a two year Historian for Sam Houston’s Chi Tau Epsilon, the prestigious national dance honor society that recognizes, supports, and promotes superior achievement in dance. She was also a part of the Golden Key International Honor Society. While at Sam Houston State University Jenny danced with and was an Intern for Amy Llanes Company Rednerrus Feil. Jenny has also had the opportunity to take class from Paul Taylor 2, Astrid Von Ussar, Charlotte Boye, Meghan Durham Wall, and Hilary Bryan. She has performed works by choreographers Bill Evans and Meghan Durham Wall. Jenny taught jazz at the Wynn Home Arts Center in Huntsville. Jenny has choreographed for various local high schools including Mansfield, Martin, South Grand Prairie, and Bowie High School. She is the new Drill Team and Dance Director of the West Mesquite High School Lariettes.

Taylor Knight

Taylor is a 2008 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He was a one-year member of Repertory Company II and Repertory Company I. Taylor has studied jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and modern technique at ADX. He performed with FIRE!, ADX xtremeDancers, and Images Contemporary Dance Company. Taylor has studied with Doug Caldwell, Kitty Carter, Bruce Wood, Nick DiNicolangelo, Dessiree Robbins, Kanji Segawa, Joey Tarwater, Sonya Tayeh. Taylor is attending Point Park University where he is majoring in Modern Dance.

Chloé Langley

Chloé is a 2007 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts with academic high honors and high honors in dance. She was a three year member of Repertory Dance Company II and the National Honor Society. She was a student at ADX for twelve years and a member of the apprenticeship program for seven years. Chloé competed with the xtremeDancers and FIRE! and was a founding member of Images Contemporary Dance Company. She has studied with Kim Abel, Ruth Andrien, Alla Khaniashvilli, Maude Arnold, Liz Atkinson, Griff Braun, Doug Caldwell, Kitty Carter, Pamela Chu, Elisa Clark, Keith Clark, Robin Conners, Thom Clower, Dylis Croman, Fred Darsow, Nina Flagg, Titus Fotso, Jay Franke, Melissa Glascow, Gus Giordanno, Grupo Corpo, Denise Jefferson, Laurie Johnson, Nicholas Leichter, Kim McSwain, John Mead, Ceyhun Ozoy, Dwight Rhoden, Kaye Richards, Dessiree Robbins, Wade Robson, Jeff Micheal Rubedal, Mathew Rushing, Kanji Segawa, George Smallwood, Joe Tremaine, Myra Woodruff, and Christopher Vo.

 She has been sought out to perform the choreography of Tiffanee Arnold, Denise Bailey, Brynt Beitman, Ting-Yu Chen, Fred Darsow, Nick DiNicolangelo, Vernon Gooden, Laurie Johnson, David Justin, Nicholas Leichter, Gabriel Masson, Bridget Moore, Carlos Orta, Joey Tarwater, Sonya Tayeh, Keith Thompson, Kaye Richards, Holly Williams, and Bruce Wood.

Chloé is a senior Modern Dance major at the University of Utah where she is a member of the Performing Dance Company. She teaches ballet at Prodigy Dance in Holliday, Utah.

Tessa Langley

Tessa is a 2008 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where she received High Honors in Dance and Academic High Honors as well as the Dance Coordinator's Award. She received an Honorable Mention in West African Dance from the NFAA Presidential Scholar in the Arts competition for 2007-2008. She was a three year member of the African Dance Ensemble and was a rehearsal captain for the 2007-2008 year. Tessa was a three-year member of the National Honor Society and served as treasurer in 07-08. She was a student at Amanda's Dance Express for thirteen years and was a member of the apprenticeship program for eight years. Tessa competed with the xtremeDancers, FIRE!, and Águilas Azteca Ballet Folklórico. She was a founding member of Images Contemporary Dance Company. Tessa has studied with Kim Abel, Liz Atkinson, Denise Bailey, Griff Braun, Doug Caldwell, Kitty Carter, Elisa Clark, Keith Clark, Thom Clower, Pamela Chu, Dylis Croman, Yamoussa Camara, Chuck Davis, Linda Davis, Norma Davis, Moussa Diabate, Nick DiNicolangelo, Jay Franke, Melissa Glascow, Gus Giordano, Darrin Henson, Adam Hougland, Momix, Ceyhun Ozoy, Dwight Rhoden, Dessiree Robbins, Wade Robson, Kaye Richards, Calvin Rollins, Mathew Rushing, Alassane Sarr, Kanji Segawa, George Smallwod, Joey Tarwater, Sonya Tayeh, Brittany Thomas, and Christopher Vo.

Tessa is a student at the University of Utah where she is pursuing a major in Modern Dance. She currently is teaching tap and hip hop at Prodigy Dance Studio in Holladay, Utah.

Irae Martinez

Irae MartinezIrae began her dance training with Amanda Hunt, the owner of Amanda's Dance Express, at the age of four and has studied ballet, tap, modern, lyrical, jazz, Ballet Folklorico, and tumbling. She was a member of the ADX xtremeDancers, Images Contemporary Dance Company, and Águilas Azteca Ballet Folklórico; ADX's resident performing companies. In addition to her training at Amanda's Dance she also trained at Step n' Out and Bruce Lea's Dance Factory in Ft. Worth and has had the opportunity to take master classes with Jump Rhythm and Jazz, Clair Porter, Jose Limon Company, Alvin Aliey Company, and while a student at ACDF's summer intensive 2008 to study with Dianne McIntyre, Shani Collins, and Bulareyaung Pagarlava. She has been sought out to perform the works of José Limon "Psalms" and Kristen Booth "Between The Sheets". From 2005-2008 Irae performed in student pieces for adjudication at ACDF and was honored to have her own solo choreography "Hands" chosen to perform in informal concert there in 2008. Irae is a 2009 graduate of the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and was a member of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority INC and Chi Tau Epsilon dance honor society. Irae is currently teaching Ballet Folklórico for GPISD.
